I couldn't care less about prizes lads, I come on here for recent catch reports which help me plan my own fishing and to gain advice, which is freely available on here too. I also find the discussions on different tactics of great interest. This is the first year I have ever used angling forums . My fav beach is Hayling and cos of this site I can find out how warm the water is ,how high the swell is and the tide times and form. I can even watch the surf on one link.Cool eh!! Change it if you like, its your site ,but not too much please.

hi pete forget the adds at the top of the forum you put your own adds on the site and you dont need to pay for them . as for a web site you can charge for adds on there so on the long run you dont pay a thing . so to me we all gane on the long run with a a1 forum and a a1 one web site ?
end of my posts on this ...it now up to admin and mods to site down and take a look at this .....

www.ukcarpcrew.co.uk seen this web site on here just been on this site . there forum looks good is the admin going to do the same as them and put prizes up for crabs . thay got sea fishing gear as prizes and to days carp fishing all paid for. can we do this Eh! Have I missed something? Is it me or is there absolutely no support for what 'Kippers' requesting! Why is he even making comparisons with a Carp site?  ?? Does he really expect someone for put up a prize for a comp that has absolutely no support?? This is a good site here, no stunts of that sort needed thanks! Your being very patient PeteB! 3 pages of waffle IMHO!!! |

This is a brilliant debate! Thanks to everyone involved. It's really nice to hear how many of you like the forum as it is. I personally know PeteB and I know how much effort he has put in on beach and boat. I know he'll be reading your praise with a hint of pride. Thanks to the moderators for their hard work too!

The site seems fine to me, anglers across the country joining and info galore if and when you need it. What more do you want. Im gonna be having another go at dungy with the new info from here in the catch reports, with any luck, i'll get a better bag of fish than when i tried there last week. It should be left up to the admin crew, who put the work in, to keep the site sensible and easy to get around. And just because 1 site offers something, we shouldnt go changing other sites to make them the same. That would be pointless surely. Each site should have its own identity and this one has. Tight lines |
