www.ukcarpcrew.co.uk seen this web site on here just been on this site . there forum looks good is the admin going to do the same as them and put prizes up for crabs . thay got sea fishing gear as prizes and to days carp fishing all paid for. can we do this

yeah thats truebut you could have little gift voucher for the winner of the meet and greet perhaps at the start of the meet and greet pay a fee to go towards it

what about a paypal account on the forum so we can all put some cash in the pot . then the admin can buy some sea fishing gear with it . so we can have some prizes . if all members will put say £2.00 in what do you think ?

Comps have always worked in that manor, entry fee + optional pool/s for heaviest round & flat fish, Winners then take all. I dont think theres any plans on that being arranged through the forum yet a while.
There will be a meet & greet once we're through the poor fishing month's, will let you know well in advance.

Oh right, dont know nothing about that, I thought you were talking about an actual fishing comp, as in meet up & competively fish against each other at a chosen venue

Ok ,
fishing forums , are quite often made up from strongly beleiveng anglers ,
and these forums are the best !!!!!!, many forums have comps and prizes , but they are only there to attract members , and also have backing from a tackle shop that has been plugged ,
on the certain forum , leave the forums to simple chit chat and what really matters , FISHING !!!!!!,
lets just share all our knoweledge , and great catch reports , without the added bonus of great prizes , its not needed !!!!!, if you want to hear great catch reports and , share local knowledge , then leave it at that !!!!!,
prizes , bring on bad posters , and unecesaryy posts , and of course spamming on the site !!!,
thats not a forum as i like to see it !!!!!, lets all just see genuine posts and catch reports on what really matters ..........fishing !!!!!

Absolutely right Cuckoo and I have never bought a lottery ticket in my life, it just does not make sense. I prefer my premium bonds where I get to keep the money and won around 6 times in the last two years.
