Can we accept (massooff) in terms of weighing accuracy for the poor cod ? ;D

He was a monster, around 7 or 8oz. A real line puller! Added another one from last nights session, out again Wednesday.

Living in a Tackle Shop on Alderney is pretty much cheating Mark. It's bad enough with all the IOWers on here. Just promise me you'll leave some fish for us, when we finally get out there again? P.S C'mon mate. It's 8th Jan and you haven't had a shore caught Porbeagle yet - anyone would think you worked for living! Adam

Found finding the time tough Adam but there is more room on the plate than before, it'll come mate. I do have a plan for next year. When i go wrecking on a Sunday make up the ground bait from the gutting of Pollack and load up with Mackerel, take the Monday off work and go Sharking off the Breakwater..........what a plan!
Have you made dates yet?

So would there be a peak month to get the job done then, or are they about all year? It all sounds amazing. 'When' you are successful, I hope you're going to get it in one of the fishing mags? I'd love to see the end result mate. All the best with that.
I think Dan has contacted Stuart but I've not heard anything back from him yet (Dan, that is). We've all been a bit preoccupied with the getting the boat up together. If need be, we'll drive across!

We talked of that earlier didn't we in another thread, get the weather right and it will be fantastic. I can sort out a car and dinghy for you this side to make life easier. I'd meet you in the Channel somewhere...........lovely jubbly!
With the Porgie, if it comes of everyman and his dog will know and I'll have stories to tell that will bore the crap out of everyone for years!

Slowly totting the species up. I'll update my latest reports pages this week, been exceptionally busy but not too busy not to get the boat out. Absolutely knackered after yesterday, bloney wrecking :-).
