just had a look up on the beach and a number of small fish being taken from sandown castle through to deal pier.saw i codling aboat 3.5lb nice and plump.nice and mild with a flat sea bit like august.i was told they are catching small cods on deal pier along with the odd dab,doggie,whiting,pout,and ling.but did not have time for a look me self

spoke to my baitdigger friend today and he fished over the weekend and had caught 4 codling at 4th green and reported many others all the way from sandwich bay through to deal pier.

hi lee the bay will be good on sunday but have ago at the 6th green.same as when you came befor mate high tide 5.3.go to the chequers and park in the pub car park then walk across the golf course to the beach.it is a bit deeper and producing codling at the moment.you need yellows or blacks mate.best fishing from 1400-2000hrs.i might try and go tommorow night but high tide is not untill 0200 and i have to work all day as i was ill on monday.good luck

exscuses exscuses,is the carpark either side of the dirt track dean and do i need to ask in the pub and secondly can i get bait down there on sunday cheers dean. ps whats being cuaght at the bay where i was last time and do you know if walmer is any good mate

lee. if you go straight through the bay towards deal you will get to the chequers.you can park on the right if you want there is plenty of room.the pub car park is fairly open.you can get bait from channel anglingb as long as you order by tommorow night.01304 373104. everyone seems to be talking aboat the greens at the moment and i have not got a clue aboat walmer.
