Any fish anywhere 14ft Big beach. The daddy of the range comes with all the top fittings, pretty plain to look at.
But hey superb rod casts like a dream, great bite detection too, wouldn't be without it. May even be the best fishing rod i've ever owned. Highly recommend it.
Always had zziplex before that and depending on the type of fishing and the rod you match it with, they are awesome too especially the primo. Thats just my opinion though.

I use a pair of Daiwa supercast 13pm. rated 4-8oz. Really can't fault them, can handle almost anything, great for the back for ray and conger, but sensitive enough for flounder fishing.

For real shitty ground, Greys Apollo Mk1. For mixed ground, Conoflex Anubis. For clean/mixed distance, Greys Syntra. For everything else, Conoflex Enigma South. Both Conoflexs are a bit softer than when new because they are both 100% carbon but lovely rods to fish with (especially the enigma, can almost lift it with one finger. only comes out on special occasions now ) Both the Greys are a bit savage and the tip recovery speed is very quick, so I go easy with them.

estuary fishing...........
Conoflex match estuary and flattie fanatic both really nice light blanks made for mud munchers.
clean ground..............
AFAW match 13,4 ..nice tippy blank Abu Suveran 13.6 .. softer thru actioned casting (for me bad back) Shakespeare team extreme 15ft ..very easy to cast FS model.
Rough ground.
Conoflex Nemesis plus .. proper animal rod.(old model)

Shakepeare Sapphire on the boat (sometimes Abu uptider). The Abu uptider is put to best use for spinning and mack bashing though. Shakespeare Salt 12 ft, Firefly Silhouette 13 ft and cheapie Cormoran 13 ft depending on conditions and what I am targeting. The cheapie Cormoran is great for targeting sole when conditions are smooth because it's bite detection is superb. Favourite is the Firefly and I am about to get another.
