conoflex scorpion sports conoflex nemesis plus slr century tip torndo lite any fish anywhere 14ft big beach. ( great rod for clean beaches but ive snapped mine with a huss on up rough ground at shurton ( bristol channel) dont rate them any more . its a conger rod now. also wouldnt be with out my 2 conoflex flattie fanatics. Interesting that about the AFA, I had heard that they are a bit thin walled from elsewhere.

Was unable to fish last year, will be back to it this year though. Am building myself a complete set of new rods to spoil myself! Will probably use a selection of zziplex, conoflex or North Western blanks. I might even push my luck for new reel, will see if hubby feels rich at the time or not! Belinda.

My favourite is my Daiwa Kevlar tournamount (homemade and very old) then next fav is century B/Bs followed by my WR300 (but too heavy) but, the best rod that I think that I have got is my old cono flattie fanatic, but .. then again I do like Century metals, then theres my;.... I give up!!! :bash:
